Photography Portfolio Competition 2012

I was selected as one of five winners of the 2012 Photography Portfolio Competition, organized by the Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The competition was conceived to draw attention to photography’s significance as a contemporary art form, and to broaden and build the Museum’s already extensive photography collection. The competition received over 500 entries from established and emerging artists from all over the world. Three jurors: Peter Barberie, The Brodsky Curator of Photographs, Alfred Stieglitz Center, Philadelphia Museum of Art; Vince Aletti, Photography Critic; and Andrea Modica, noted photographer. Selected six winning artists for the portfolio, along with one Curator’s Choice winner whose print is sold individually.
